cookie policy

What are cookies and how are they used
Cookies are text strings sent by a web server (e.g. the site) to the user’s Internet browser, which are automatically stored on the user’s computer and automatically sent back to the server at each occurrence or subsequent access to the site.
By default, almost all web browsers are set to automatically accept cookies.
The provision of 8 May 2014 of the Guarantor for the protection of personal data has identified two macro-categories of cookies: technical and profiling.
This website uses or may use, also in combination with each other, the following categories of technical cookies:

• “session” cookies that are stored on the user’s computer for purely technical-functional needs, for the transmission of session identifiers necessary to allow safe and efficient exploration of the site; they are deleted at the end of the “session” (hence the name) with the closing of the browser;

• “persistent” cookies that remain stored on the computer’s hard drive until they expire or are deleted by users/visitors. Through persistent cookies, visitors who access the site (or any other users who use the same computer) are automatically recognized at each visit. This category also includes:

– functionality cookies that allow you to remember the browsing language or the registration of the shopping cart in online purchases.

– analytics cookies used to collect and analyze statistical information on accesses/visits to the website.

These two types of cookies (session and persistent) can in turn be:

• “First-party” cookies (publisher) managed directly by the owner and/or manager of the website

• “Third-party” cookies, i.e. cookies prepared and managed by managers external to the website visited by the user: the latter fall under the direct and exclusive responsibility of the manager.

Third-party cookies include Google Analytics, which are used to obtain aggregate statistical information, useful for evaluating the use of the website and the activities carried out by the visitor. It stores the information collected by the cookie on servers located in the United States or other countries. Google reserves the right to transfer the information collected with its cookie to third parties, where required by law or where the third party processes information on its behalf. Google ensures that it does not associate the user’s IP address with any other data held in order to obtain a more detailed user profile. Further information on privacy and their use can be found directly on the websites of the respective managers.
Furthermore, the website may also use profiling cookies, in combination with technical cookies. Profiling cookies are used to track the user’s navigation on the network and create profiles on their characteristics, such as habits, lifestyles, tastes, choices, preferences, etc. With the use of this type of cookie, it is possible to transmit advertising messages to the user’s terminal in line with the preferences that the user has expressed during online navigation.

Cookies used by this site
The site “www.alessandrazini.com” uses the following cookies:

• Technical navigation cookies

• Functionality cookies (to disable, see “How cookies work and how to delete them)

• Analytics cookies (to disable, see Google’s Privacy Policy) (https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=it&gl=it)

How cookies work and how to delete them
Visitors can set their computer’s browser to accept/refuse all cookies or to display a warning each time a cookie is proposed, in order to be able to evaluate whether to accept it or not. The user is enabled, however, to change the default configuration and disable cookies (i.e. block them permanently), by setting the highest level of protection.
