Alessandra Zini graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna with the Master engraver, set designer, painter Luciano de Vita.

 

During the academic years she won the 1st prize "Fine Arts: emerging artistic trends" and subsequently she  was a finalist for two editions of "Premio Arte" Giorgio Mondadori publisher.

 

Alessandra has started to exhibit her works at ImmaginaArte in Reggio Emilia, Galleria Art Point Black in Florence, Art Expo in New York City, Galleria Maragall Edicions in Barcelona.

She joined a collective of artists who manage the Art Space "Atelierviaduegobbitre" in an ancient palace in the historic center of Reggio Emilia, where they organize regular art exhibitions with numerous Italian and foreign artists.

She was invited to exhibit her artist's books at the prestigious "Arte Libro" fair at Palazzo Re Renzo del Podestà in Bologna.

The Institute for Artistic, Cultural and Natural Heritage of the Emilia Romagna Region publishes the refined volume “Printers and Art Workshops in Emilia Romagna”, dedicating a large section to her.

She was selected for the Craft sector (art and crafts) of the International Salon in Paris “Maison&Objet”, managed by Atelier d’Art de France.


She received an invitation for a solo exhibition at the Art Wine Design Gallery in Brussels along the prestigious Via del Parlamento.

She completed the three-handed project “Il canto della terra” freely inspired by Gustav Mahler’s symphonic work “Das Lied Von Der Erde”, exhibited at the RezArte contemporanea in Reggio Emilia.

A solo exhibition of her entitled “Ma noi chi siamo?” comes to life at the Olmastroni Gallery in the prestigious Palazzo Patrizi in Siena

Shadows have always been her passion, her figures come to life from them to then continuously transform with different materials.

Black and white are her world, they constantly fight to get the better of the final result, in the end they support each other. Prussian blue is allowed to sneak in every now and then.

Her journey continues because the shadows always follow her…
